Doctor Sewa ("we", "us") runs doctorsewa.in, a service for booking doctor tokens and lab tests in Prayagraj (Allahabad). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

Your name, age, gender and mobile number, and the same details for family members you book for.
Your bookings: doctor, clinic, date, timing, token number and visit status; lab tests booked, collection address and time slot.
Prescriptions you upload and lab reports we upload for you.
Payment status of online payments. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store them.
Messages you send us through the call-back form, and basic technical data such as your browser and pages visited.

Why we use it

To book and manage your token or lab test, send you SMS updates, and show your live queue position.
To let the clinic or lab you booked with see your booking.
To answer your enquiries and call you back when you ask us to.
To keep records required for accounts and to prevent misuse.
With your consent only: to show you Doctor Sewa advertisements on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube (see "Cookies and advertising").

Who we share it with

The doctor, clinic and clinic staff you book with, and our partner laboratory and sample collector for lab tests.
Service providers that help us run the service: SMS provider, payment gateway (Razorpay) and hosting provider. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
Government authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart. If you click "Accept" on our cookie notice, we also use the Meta Pixel and Google tag so that people who visited doctorsewa.in can be shown Doctor Sewa ads on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other sites. These tools are never loaded on booking, report, payment or account pages. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

How long we keep it

Lab report files are deleted automatically 30 days after they are uploaded. You can also delete a report yourself from your booking page.
Booking and payment records are kept as long as needed for the service and for legal and accounting requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw a consent you gave. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

Prescriptions and reports are stored privately and opened only through secure links or by authorised staff. Please do not share your OTP or booking links with others.
